CAREER FEST 2023

INTRODUCTION

The Centre for Youth Advisory and Counseling at Karakoram International University, Gilgit, organized Career Fest 2023 on the 11th and 12th of September 2023. This unique and empowering event aimed to provide students and youth with a professional development platform, offering opportunities to explore diverse career options, acquire relevant skills, and connect with industry professionals. This event report reflects on the objectives, activities, and outcomes of Career Fest 2023, showcasing its impact on students’ career development and aspirations.

The Career Fest aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • To expose students to a wide range of career paths and opportunities.
  • To provide a platform for students to interact with industry professionals, gain insights, and network.

  • To enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of the skills and qualifications required in different fields.

  • To empower students to make informed decisions about their future career paths.

  • To inspire students to pursue their passions and aspirations, fostering a sense of purpose and motivation.

Target audience:

Career Fest 2023 primarily targeted graduating students of Karakoram International University, Gilgit, representing various faculties and academic disciplines. The event aimed to engage students from diverse backgrounds to offer a comprehensive overview of career options, aligning with individual interests and aspirations.

Dates and Locations:

  • 11st and 12nd September 2023
  • Karakoram International University (in front of Musharraf Hall).
  • Timing; 10 am to 4 pm
